Vernon Siemelink

BSSc Honn GeoScience | M(EnvMan) Environmental Management | ISO 14001 Auditor

Director – Senior Environmental Consultant

Vernon is an ISO 14001 Lead Auditor and environmental professional with over 11 years’ experience in the environmental industry.

Vernon holds a Master's Degree in Environmental Management and an Honours Degree in Geosciences from the University of Pretoria.

Work experience ranges from Environmental Auditing, Due Diligences, Technical Legal opinions, Impact Assessments, Stakeholder Engagement and technical specialist in the mining and manufacturing sectors.

Vernon has also provided quality, environmental, and health and safety consulting and auditing services in nearly every industry sector.

Vernon is a SGS IRCA Certified EMS Lead Auditor and a SETA accredited assessor. He has also completed the CEM auditor conversion training for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Integrated Management Systems.

Henno Engelbrecht

Director – Senior Environmental Consultant

With more than 10 years experience in the consulting arena, Henno is an open-minded, friendly and resourceful business and project manager with a sound and optimistic outlook on all things in life.

He possesses an excellent ability to motivate others, coupled with the ability to communicate comfortably at all levels, therefore ensuring an excellent working environment for all members of the team enabling them to perform at their bests.

Henno is self-motivated, competent, enthusiastic, creative, adaptable and advocates a solution driven approach to any challenges to ensure an inspired shared vision.

Chris Ingram

Pr. Eng | BEng (Civil) | BEng Hons

Director – Civil Engineer

Chris Ingram is a registered professional civil engineer and director at Eco Elementum (Pty) Ltd, with more than 10 years’ experience in the engineering industry.

His key experience includes planning, design, project management and co-ordination of water projects, which includes; bulk water, mine water, storm water management as well as water and wastewater treatments plants and associated infrastructure.

Annerie Dinkelmann

BSc Honn Env Science (Biodiversity) | MSc Environmental Science


After working within the field of nature conservation and tourism in the Pilanesburg Region, and a short stint in the aviation industry, Annerie joined Eco Elementum in 2017. She has a Master’s degree in Environmental Science (Zoology/Ornithology) from the North West University and brings practical experience in avian research to the team, with strong skills in data modelling and reporting. Research and extensive field surveys on riparian habitats and birds, participation in research projects on amphibians, reptiles, fish and flora, and a keen interesting in anything related to nature, have all contributed to her becoming an ecologist.

She has experience in conducting Biodiversity Assessments (Fauna and Flora), Obtaining Environmental Authorisations, Public Participation, Site conservation and management, Development of Environmental Management Plans, Vegetation management plans and Water quality monitoring. The projects she has been involved in include: Basic Assessments, Environmental Scoping Studies, Environmental Impact Assessments and Water Use License Applications. She also has experience in GIS mapping.

Outside of work, Annerie enjoys bird watching, hiking, reading, as well as cooking.

Carene Kruger

Senior Environmental Consultant – EAP

Carene is a Certified Natural Scientist and has over 11 years’ experience in the environmental industry. Work experience ranges from Environmental Impact Assessments, Stakeholder Engagement, legal opinions and to the management of small to large scale projects.

Projects includes municipal infrastructure, governmental flagship projects (including SKA Meerkat, the Skywalk at God’s Window, PRASA railway infrastructure and the Gautrain Variant Assessment), commercial developments, mining projects and environmental master planning.

Carene has also gained valuable experience on the African continent and further abroad with regards to waste minimization and sustainable development aimed at community upliftment.

Carene holds a B.Sc Hon (Geography) form the University of Johannesburg and is currently completing her Masters in Environmental Sciences at the University of Pretoria.

SW Minnaar

BSc Environmental Science

Environmental Consultant

SW coordinates all Environmental Monitoring and Control (EMC) functions of Eco Elementum with 4 years of experience in the environmental field. He is a competent Environmental Control Officer (ECO) and holds a B.Sc. Environmental Science degree at the University of Pretoria.

He is currently completing his Honours degree in Environmental Management. SW admires the outdoors and enjoys adventure riding and fly-fishing in his free time.

Chris Fourie

Pr. Eng. B.Eng (Civil)

Principal Engineer

Chris Fourie is a professionally registered Civil Engineer (Pr.Eng). During his 9+ years of post-graduate experience he has been mainly been involved in mining water, water, wastewater and bulk water infrastructure related projects, with previous experience in municipal infrastructure.

Whithin these fields, Chris has been involved at various phases of the project life cycle, including planning, feasibility assessment, design and implementation. He has delivered project in South Africa, Angola, Liberia, Swaziland and Mozambique.

Krüg Hamman

NDip: Civil Engineering

Environmental Engineering Technologist

After working within the field as a Civil Engineering Intern, Krüg Hamman joined Eco Elementum in December 2017. He has a National Diploma in Civil Engineering from The Tshwane University of Technology.

Krüg is currently busy with his BTech in Environmental Engineering at the Tshwane University of Technology assisting both the Engineering and Environmental departments inside Eco Elementum.
